This is actually my first attempt at SAI paint tools. Admittedly I'm kind of REALLY proud of it, haha, since it started off just as a practice piece for my character Hana Li. I referenced some of the colors used in her hair from a girl's picture on google, since it was looking quite flat at first- and guess I got a little carried away with the background from there....the clouds were a lot of fun. I'm really not sure how they came out so well.

I really love this picture.
I'm not usually into the nature-related themes, but there's something very serene and emotional about this picture. I like the fuzziness of the background and the way her hair flows, as if gently being blown away by the wind. The way she looks into the sky makes me want to know what's the story behind this.
