so0o i've wanted to paint ariel for so long... she's one of my favorites...i finally got up the courage to. i'm not sure how happy i am with her... she was painted without references except for a small ref for the shell and my hands for the lighting... as well as jeff who helped me get the lighting right as well!
maybe 6ish hours in photoshop.. loved every minute of it.
