Remember this guy, huh?
I seriously never thought I would be able to make a ref for my poor Arawn. He's been without one for many years now. I've tried many times to draw a ref for him, but the bastard simply won't co-operate with me, but this time he did! I do like his design as well, it's simple but it works. I like the belts of hell over his chest. He's a very, very typical character for his element, but I've always liked this guy.
Mwahaha, Arawn is back!

he seems more exotic-looking based on his facial features for some reason in comparison to older designs, i honestly can't place why but i love it! and i love how pale his skin is with the touches of grey. he actually looks... well... dead. xD it obviously works in his favor though!
the belts from hell are surely interesting, even though he's supposed to represent an "unrestrained" model. maybe that's all a part of his sick sarcasm? X3

Very nice design, but the proportion of the body is off...the body should be about 7 heads high...yours is about 5. It makes the character look rather awkward.

Well.. its 3:52 now... and my Dad finishes work at 7ish... so... I HAVE TO WAIT 3 HOURS??? That's so long XDXDXD
It's so funny how I went around retrieving the pics though.
LOL. I had to go to my old house (I had no idea if anyone was living there) and knocked on the door loads. No-one answered, so I scribbled a note on a scrap of paper in my bag asking them to drop something off for me at my dad's work across the road... and they must have done!!
I#m so excited now.
This is BLATANTLY going to be the longest 3 hours of my life, lol !!

On the other hand, I once saw a dress made entirely out of zippers. It was one of the damned coolest things I have ever seen. And yes that is exactly the point, it's perhaps not much practical or anything like that, but it's for the sake of the design.

He is very well draw, but I don't think he looks all that godly. When I first say the image without looking at the title I thaught "Another RPG style hero." And he does look like exactly that, the protagonist of a Squaresoft RPG.
I'm not quite sure how to make him look more "godly" but to lessen the RPG look I would suggest fewer belts on his torso and adding an accent color that is not grey. They way he is now it's a bit of a "dark overload".

Personally, I don't want to give my gods and goddesses the design of being allmighty powerful deities. I've given them designs, which in my opinion, could pass them as almost normal elves in their universe.

OMg! this is a great reference!!! I think I'll bump him up there with my faves of your deities :3 I lurve the clothes-especially the coat thingy ^.^ The ends of it look neat, and for some reason, I like the back view of him the best
