This is Zephyr. He's psychotic and ruthless. Much love to the crazy people. No one knows if he's really blind or just wears the blindfold for extra an challenge during battle.
His wings aren't in this picture if you hadn't noticed. The reason he doesn't have them is because while talking with my co-writer (lordpenguinman ), we decided it would be best for the dragons to be able to merge their wings into their bodies and bring them out as need be.

YOU KNOW, IN RETROSPECT--and I have no idea why this means anything now--it must be easier for the D'Apor to get dressed with the retractable wings... o_o I have to ask, though... Does the dragon form absorb the clothes, or do they lose em when they change to full form? xD
I can just see it, after a long, hard(boring... xD) battle. e.e; "OMFG. *hands over eyes* ZEPHYR, PUT SOME CLOTHES ON." ...As he's walking away without a care in the world. :D

i do believe this is the best of the ones you posted. 
i don't really have any constructive criticism to offer because it seems you've already pointed out more than i'd have noticed. my only suggestion is if you want to improve on hair, there's some great realism tutorials i've found useful in applying to manga (particularly [link] ). but looking at your newer work, you're doing pretty damn well, and i feel bad giving advice to people who are more skilled than i am

I like the metallic shininess of his boots and uh... leg guards...? They look lickable. But not in winter. In spite of how random it is to note this... I like the shading on the cloth wrapped around the hilt of his blade. xD And the one around his eyes. And, I think he should be a dancer. :3 The cloth hanging from his chestpiece reminds me of the ribbons ballet dancers--SHIT. Shoot me, I have an idea for that cross-dressing contest now. >w< WAHAHAHA! I'm so dead. e.e
ANYWAY. It's Zephyr. I've loved it right from day one, I just... wanted to comment nicely on *coughFAVEcough* it and didn't have much to say then. And, sure, NOW the wings are retractable. xD After making me draw mock-chibi ones on You Challenging Me?! (Nawh, I like the ickle wings on that. They bring out his inner psycho. :3)

It's so much more tame than it was meant to be, and (I honestly hope) it's way out of character. It's not you I'm worried about; it's him. xD But yes, you did bring this upon yourself. And the Sanguem Deus cast. >D Bwahaha!

Good picture and character. Really interesting guy! Anatomy and hair need a little work and a little more action-oriented pose would be a lot more interesting, but overall this is very good. The clothing is really nice and I love the blindfold (I've got blindfolded characters myself

Anatomy is a very vague term, and I really don't like it when people just say "needs work on anatomy." Please be specific.
Blindfolded characters are indeed fun to have. My muse is blindfolded. You can find her in various places in my gallery.

Sorry for that. The fingers on the bare hand look wobbly (thin in some places, thick in others) the right shoulder looks a little lumpy where it goes into the armband and the head seems small. He needs more of a jawline and chin.

That's a pretty slick character design; the blacks, blues, and purples all go together very well. Blue is usually something I associate with good guys, but here it looks cold and dark to add to the ruthless side of him. I'm also very impressed with the shading on this one; especially on the clothing folds and the shiny metal guards.
And, this is the part in the review where I would move onto the things to improve on for next time, but I can't see anything that's taking away from the picture right now. The thickness of the arms looks perfectly fine as it is, but I think I'd like to see a little more sculpted muscle on his arms, as long as he's a general and would know a thing or two about combat, but that's probably just my personal preference, so don't worry about it.
