Description
The practically unsinkable ocean liner, which tragically went down after hitting an iceberg on its maiden voyage in 1912. There were insufficient lifeboats so they were loaded 'women and children first', a code of conduct established in 1845 with the sinking of HMS Birkenhead in shark infested waters off South Africa.
