I also hated how Marceline liked LSP's "attitude" and how she didn't let Breakfast Princess get to her, only that she was calling her out for being a bum and not one of her actions were even excusable. It just further hammers in this terrible reoccurring botched moral I keep seeing pop up being, "If somebody doesn't like the way you act, they should change and you have no problems whatsoever!"

Yeah. BP sounded like a bitch, but all she did was call out LSP for being a bum and crashing the party. Everything was way too mean-spirited to be even tolerable. The moral I got from this was the one it explicitly stated "It's fine if you do a bad thing once, cuz that's just a mistake." Even though they were knowingly doing this terrible stuff, so that's not a mistake. And by itself, they didn't explain well enough what a mistake was, or how mistakes are still bad things. Ugh. I just hate this episode a lot.

THANK YOU!! Seriously, this is one the worst Adventure Time episodes.

I want to give this a higher score but it won't let me update it. I honestly don't know if the worst part is either the mean-spiritedness or the moral.

Season 6 is nothing but a ratings trap.

Actually, I find season 6 to be really good so far. Mostly because it's not like season 5 that had no idea what it wanted to be. This season feels like it's focusing on being more serious than comedic.

I actually never saw this episode, though I should most likely be glad I didn't. Also, what's the moral exactly?

It's not terrible, just...boring. And the moral, as quoted from Marceline, is this: "I don't think there are bad people. I think good people do bad stuff sometimes, and that's bad. But if you do it once it's just a mistake, and that's not bad. I think." Which would just be questionable, if it weren't for the fact that they were PURPOSEFULLY doing bad stuff (which is the opposite of a mistake).

I honestly think Ocarina is a worse season 6 atrocity, but this is a close second.

I thought Ocarina was amazing. What did you not like about it?

Kim Kil Whan is an ass to both Finn and Jake; he pretty much steals their home and makes them live on ladder, for what cause? It's never explained. All we're given is that Kim is doing this so Jake will "mature up" and get a job, but how does this help? What makes the whole experience worse is Jake is HIS FATHER. He has authority over Kim; it doesn't matter how old either of them are, Jake can take action over this but he never does! And yeah, I know there's the beginning where Jake is sort of uncaring to his kids; but even that was grossly exaggerated, and even so still didn't warrant all the torment Kim gave the two of them. Maybe I'm missing some super hidden context that makes all of this make more sense, but I just found the whole experience unpleasant.

I found it really smart and heartwarming (especially the ending). I do see why you'd be angry at Kim Kil Whan, but here's how I see it. Jake is a deadbeat father, he barely sees his kids and acts like a child. Kim Kil Whan wanted to become a responsible adult cuz.... IDK (that I'll give you). But he is a stick in the mud, so he did what he thought would work best. Also, I found Jake's speech about where people stand was really smart and true. About the authority thing, Jake is practically a child, KKW is a businessman. And Jake cares too much about his kids to fight against him, that's why he tried to find out why it was happening so he could fix it from there. And the ending is heartwarming, he shows KKW that even though he isn't responsible, he still loves his family unconditionally. This gives KKW a change of heart and realizes that he can't change Jake, but that may be a good thing.

Meh, to each their own I guess.

What? But in all seriousness; even though I love this episode, I'm completely fine with you hating it because your reasons were great (and thanks for not stating your opinion as fact, that's very rare to find these days).

To each their own = Everyone has their own opinions. Sorry, I should've specified.

And yeah, it's pretty rare.

My first atrocity page. BTW, the moral really does anger me.
