Description
At print resolution. Yes, someone asked for this.So there I lay, on the tile floor of a public bathroom with a camera looking up at a toilet.
In walks the manager.

This is by far the thing that has gotten the most attention on here. Also, it sold a repainting, so I'm a little fond of it myself.
I will be making a higher quality version for prints, and I am open to taking orders for paintings in this series again. Price TBD by size and detail level. Message me.
The original is actually 3 in. x 3 in. Printing rights are unavailable, but the original inksplatter drawing is.

What's the world coming to when you can't take pictures in a toilet without being bothered by the manager and worse, when you can't take a dump without a pair of tentacles tickling your arse.
When my brother was a kid, this exact image was his worst fear. He would be scared out of his mind to take a shit and we (his brothers) would remind him of it every time he had to go

You know... I'm always suprised by the response this one gets. It's overwhelmingly positive, and it was just a quicky for a print on demand book. The original is something like 3in.x3in. What do you think, would it look good as an actual painting?

Yes, I think it would look good as a painting. And you wouldn't need to add colour or anything. The raw style goes excellent with the actual image, no matter how big you decide to make it. I'd say go for it! Who knows, if I can muster the cash I might just buy it from you (as a gift for my brother

You took a picture of a toilet in a PUBLIC bathroom?! You, my friend, are seriously dedicated.
Anyway, I really came here to comment on how awesome this is. I seriously enjoy it! Honestly, it reminds me of some sort of children's book. Like a group of friends go to camp, one of them has to pee, toilet monster scares them, and then the group spends the rest of the book attempting to convince others that its real and trying to defeat it.
But, your use of the natural tendencies of paint is beautiful and I adore the angle. It makes me feel like I've just fallen to the floor and am now looking up at this terrible beastie.
