Originally meant to be part of a two-panel work with [link] . To be mounted above it. I now have another idea as to what might make a good second panel. But I had some other work backing up while I was stumped with this one.

And why stumped? Diluted acrylic again, on board. But with very high contrast and not enough familiarity with the particular method. He ended up alternately unfinished and overworked over and over. I had to force myself to stop playing with it. He didn't turn out half bad, but I am still resisting the urge to keep hacking away at him.

What indeed.
