“Excuse me?”A voice came from behind the Chandelure as Link opened his eyes nervously; Lexy and Caldera quickly looked at the ‘second intruder’
A Cyndaquil wearing a pair of glasses and a scar over his left eye, holding a book with its front paws carefully approached
“RYUU!” Link exclaimed feeling relieved that he was here to rescue him…despite his prior to enter the premises statement where he said he could handle himself in there.
“My friend and I don’t mean any harm to your library or your person…” His voice, calm at all times with a hint of certain age
“What would be your business then?” Lexy asked with an estranged tone, he had already received many guests before and was actually tired of dealing with them
“We are a rescue team from the village, we come to ask for a library card and, if able, a book of your… personal collection…” Ryuu placed the book he was carrying in front of him “I offer this book as a proof that our intention is to seek knowledge…”
Lexy’s ears perked up as he was surprised about the Cyndaquil manners and that he was the first to offer something to get something, and started to think quietly analyzing this visitor..
Caldera and Link looked interested at their companions not knowing what would happen next, though Link didn’t like to be still floating around

Writting looks better here, just a few cases of akward wording and some lack of punctuation.
Ryuu offering a book to use the library reminded me of that one library episode of Avatar, where the scolar gave some valuable books to the owl spirit librarian.

I thought the same thing too, but didn't worry about it since I didn't make a rescue or rogue team to do the misson.
Hmm where you said '... despite his prior to enter the premises statement where he said he could handle himself in there.'
You could say 'despite his statement prior to entering the premises that he could handle himself in there.' I think that sounds better at least.

I read the story about the librarians, and it made me think it would be such a hard task to get to the book.
Personally, when I look at art I look for something unique and believable. These days ocs seem to be a collection of marrysues or whatever they are called. And the librarians seemed so clever that if anyone should try to overpower them it would just be sad. So I didn't really get my hopes up for this mission. But then you came with your little story. Being Unique.
And you wonder if your story caught my attention?
