haha i'm still obsessed with samurai sword and girls. anyway, i think i shld practise painting more bg, i'm really struggling when i painted this bg, somehow my mind just went blank. i was thinking if this was a cover for an artbook or sth so i used back the logo i did for the previous fake comic cover i did and slap it on. haha lazy me arghh.. anyway i hope it looks ok, C&C welcome

Yoz fellow countryman!! Congrats on ORDing, though u still owe the gov another decade or so in reservist. It was hard choosing a fav coz I think all of ur works are pretty distinctive. They are a refreshing change from all the other manga styled ones I've seen. U went for design courses or self taught? Probably you can give me some pointers? Hee.

haha reminds me of something John Howe said on his forums. reminding him on the Lotr set.
He imagined kig theoden yelling "draw your swords!" and that all the rohorrim sat down drawing their swords and comparing sketches.

Oh I totally love this! The flow of the scarf is gorgeous and I really love the colours! The perspective and your detail in the clouds and sky looks so beautiful! I really love her warm skintone and the perspective and shading on her leg! I really love the texture of her hair, too! Lovely work!

thats pretty slick, i like the simple swords. i always keep one of your deviations in my favs, this one almost replaced the samurai ladies just because the zine title, "draw your sword" is so fantastic. i'm having trouble not stealing the title for an art zine! argh! temptation will not get the best of me!

That's fucking hot, pardon my language. Man, you have some nice color-choosing skills. The swirling clouds ain't half bad either. I think her hip looks kind of like it's rubber, like her suit, but that's a texture problem and doesn't take away from the nice back-view pose.
