hi all, back with another pic this week. she is one of my favourite characthers, her costume is really very sexy and i really like the official artworks that one japanese artist did, i dun noe who is he but he really rocks. anyway for this i tried a different way of colouring her kimono using abit more black. anyway the game is quite ok but can get very frustrating sometimes, esp with the player views. but anyway C&C welcome

I could've sworn this was from the official art, very impressive. I adore Kurenai. Akemi I think her name was too. Heck her master Chiyo was pretty hot too.

In case you haven't learned since; the game is Red Ninja: End of Honor, the character is the main character of the game and her name is Kurenai

I'm a big fan of the original artist of this character. I'm not exactly sure his name but the title on his old websites was D.K. or Flower or DK Flower. Unfortunately there's not much of anything left of his work on the internet. There is this website which I recently discovered: [link] It has some of his work, although its not of the same style of the the ones he did for this game. I have a handful of his art he had posted from years ago which is closer to this characters style. If I would have known it all would have been washed from the internet I would have saved more

ahhh yea! D.K is awesome man!! i really love his stuff too, but he dun really post his stuff online and even if he do its really very small. i think he recently did a cover art for gelatin a illustration magazine like robot. which is really cool! anyways thanks so much for sharing!

Very sexy. Love the pose, love the expression, love the anatomy, love the colors, love the shading. And, love the character. Kurenai is the best. She's the sexiest ninja I've ever seen.
Game's really challenging though! Have you beaten the prt where they time you to beat the Armor God to that ray of light thing? Dang, it's so hard! And Akemi dies~!
I really liked the artwork drawn for the game, but the game itself is so impossible! Geez! I have to do a part 5 jillion times before I got it right.

Ugh. I hate that part. It took me 8 MONTHS to have the paitience to get through that thing.
But after many screams at my TV, I found some shortcuts.

hmm... I can't check cause I don't have my PS2 hooked up at the moment, but I'm pretty sure the temple stage that your talking about is the place with the giant buddha sitting in the middle of the building??

um, come to think - did you ever beat the game?
i mean, i really had to give up at this ... unfinished castle stage where you had to wall-run for a very long time to pass a cliff or so... a really strange level that was >.< i always somehow slipped and fell down, dead... > >

ahh shit man, the stages are horrifying man..i got stuck at this temple stage and couldn't find my way out tried for days but just couldn't find an exit. in the end i gave up, the game had such pontential but sadly the controls and camera views plus the stages are really a headache
