She was such a wasted character I feel. :/
Specially since the Bounty Hunter Class doesn't get any force sensitives. This felt like the prefect way to earn one.

Haha thank you!
Honestly she would have made a fun companion too. But no... apparently not...

I gotta agree with this, so much waste promise here that it angers me. But you got admit, her master did almost destroyed entire Mandalorian clan which would then lead to their down fall.
Everyone Mandalorian he slew, he could been killing someones love one. It was technally an act of justice to answer calls of family members of those Mandalorians.
But overall, Yes I agree with ya

Well, technically everyone you kill has loved ones and family. Including the no-name NPCs who are just standing around. But apparently it's ok to slaughter them by the thousands, not a dark side point in sight, but whoooo not that specific character with a name, that is different ESPECIALLY if they're a jedi and could actually defend themselves? It's a bit of a logical disconnect in the game if you ask me.

Personally I found the railroading to be worst in chapter 3 after Jun Seros pulled his crap and got the Chancellor to blame everything the Empire had done over the whole game (including things that either weren't real or were from the other class stories) squarely on the Hunter, and that it forced us to work for Darth Tormen (I won't get into the acquisition of Skadge now, but that too).
The problem with the Bounty Hunter story is that you are forced to be on the Empire's side (even nominally) rather than being true neutral and getting the option to work for the Republic too.

I amΒ ok with being on the Empire's side as a bounty hunter, in part because I understand it is easier for them to build a game that way and in part because there's plenty of opportunity to justify it plotwise (they pay better, you have a long term thing, your contacts are mainly Empire, etc). Unfortunately, they chose to railroad us thoroughly instead... which breeds frustration :I

Given that Mandalore is supporting the Empire, and the Great Hunt is hosted by the Mandalorians, that does indeed justify you starting slightly towards the Imperial side (even if you're indifferent towards the Empire, you have to operate within their territory, which becomes easier the more valuable you are to them) but it would still be better to have more choices.

True. Though I also have my headcanon that Dasin is still very much chiss, and pro-Ascendancy, and thus feels some degree of obligation to side with the Empire. Not enough to be a horrible person and hurt civilians but you know... still.

As far as I've come to understand it, the Empire stumbled upon them, gave them the usual option of 'join peacefully or in chains' and to their great surprise the chiss agreed without putting up a fight. And later in the series they abandon the Empire and join the Republic, if I remember correctly they are mid-talks during the movie period and are thus not allied to either side. But I would like to point out that my memory is not perfect so...

Well, whatever they do in the tOR time period is long forgotten by the time of the movies as they're off doing their own thing even when Thrawn joins Palpatine's Empire.

Aqura spared her because she wasn't a threat, and she didn't deserve to die. When Thendys came after Aqura, however, she used up her one chance. She should've waited a few years and become stronger if she couldn't follow Aqura's advice and do the Jedi thing by letting go of her anger. At least then she would've done her master proud.

Now I'm imagining a reworking of the courtroom scenes from KotOR1, and given that the next planet is Belsavis, being sent to prison there just before the planet-wide riots that kick of both factions' stories down there would have been perfect.

Perhaps the Chiss that are on Hoth consider their people who are in Imperial Intelligence to be more worthy and useful than those that act as mercenaries.

Ddriana In reply to Zoe-the-Pink-Ranger [2013-11-02 07:41:26 +0000 UTC]
Probably. I mean, as part of Imperial Intelligence you are working a respectable job, while a bounty hunter is probably a renegade of some kind. Though I would much rather have that addressed than ignored as it was. Dasin would have liked to be able to assure his fellow chiss that he was definitely one of them still.

Now I feel bad about wanting to make a comment that he was carrying her body to a merchant because he couldn't be arsed to take all of her gear off and pack it up again to sell it.

Hahahaha XD You *should* feel bad about it XD (or perhaps he is just trying to find a female merchant so he doesn't have to strip a dead girl naked because that would be awkward and rude all at once)

Wait, that's why he's carrying it, it won't fade away until the merchant takes off the equipment and he is running out with the credits!
Besides, it would be horrible to be a janitor in a video game if the bodies didn't fade away.
