I loved the plot on Voss if not actual Voss, and those letters, oh stars all the feels TAT
Star Wars the Old Republic and its glorious imperial agent plot... unf.

Oh, she's quite fond of him. Most understanding boyfriend ever, an oasis of calm in the storm, and she likes his almost normal eyes (wrong color and all, but at least they're just *one* color). Sadly, we're still avoiding that proposal convo because I'm not sure what happens if you refuse to marry him (he's not chiss, chiss are supposed to be xenophobic... she couldn't possibly marry him. Besides, she's already married to a Voss, what would her family say, etc). But she really doesn't like the killik, yet gets angry if people say negative things about them in front of Vector... It's complicated XD

My take on Vector is "I'm so glad my Imperial Agent isn't a Chiss"... mostly because I've read the Dark Nest trilogy (and hated it, but that isn't the point). I know entirely too much about the Killiks.
Most players think I'm crazy because the Killiks scare me so much more than the Collicoids. Oh I know the Collicoids are bigger, meaner, and hungrier, but they only want to eat me.
The whole thing with the Joining, the grafting of insect parts onto injured Joiners, and the Black Hive/Dark Nest laying their eggs inside of Chiss captives, many of whom are Joiners, it just provokes a primal fear in me.
Every time I see the Killik larvae, I shudder, for real... and if Stessa, Fersi, and Threlis knew what I know, they'd be scared too.

I haven't read it, but I've spoiled myself on the wookiepedia, and I kept worrying that maybe this right here, the chiss agent and Vector, was what introduced the chiss and the killik to one another (and thus I'd be indirectly responsible for the war later on).

I thought the Alderaan bonus series on the Imperial side would drive the Killiks off Alderaan completely (as depicted in the in-universe painting; Killik Twilight) and push them towards the Unknown Region, where they'd be parked peacefully on the edge of Chiss territory until absorbing Raynar Thul and the two Dark Jedi set them off again. I was almost disappointed that I didn't get to swat the bugs that hard.

When it comes to Killik-related content, I kind of have to balance "eww, gross, they scare me" with "Kill them! Kill them with fire!"
Curiously enough, it's the Republic side that gets to kill the Night Heralds... but no-one gets the Unseen Queen. There's more to come from the Black Hive.
