Returning back to waterplay!! as you can see here...You can't imagine how many times I ran to the washroom, emptied this glass and refilled it... set the camera to timer, held my makeshift reflector against my flash, waited for the timer to tick down from 10seconds, then half a second before it goes, poor the creme into the water, making sure it goes into the glass from a height where it's not in the frame. (now that's a damn long run-on sentence).
Setup was just on my desk... (cleaned everything off of it)... a glass of water, camera, flash and tripod set up infront.
Anyways... to make a long story short, patience pays off... good thing I have loads of it.

This is phenomenal; inspired me to write for almost three hours about fantastical lands, believe it or not.

As far as the creme in the water -- fantastic! I've never seen something done with water that grasped me quite like this. I just wish it had a different background, that emphasized the cream more. A black background, ohh that would be nice! Then the cloud would really contrast against the clear (black) water ...

this is a great idea
and love the shape of the cream being poured itself..
one thing is i iguess i would have liked it a lot more if the glass was PERFECT.. like no scratches, or that second-hand look
u might say it gives it character.. lol
i might just say it looks cheap
so yeah.. maybe some crystals in the future instead

I "was" gonna go grab a different glass.. but was too lazy... I was thinkin of grabbing a not round one.. so the angles of the sides would defract a bit.... I guess I'll do that next time
