How long has it been since I uploaded a render of Yuiko?
A month?
Two months?
I can't remember.
But for those watchers of mine who just LOVE my little alien catgirl mascot, here she is in a little number that's more revealing than most.
This on actually took a while.
For some reason, DAZ|Studio had trouble with all the bump maps and reflections I had ion this scene.
Well, maybe her ears were the cause of that.
Tandy Hair's ears tend to be resource drainers because their hi-poly figure props.
But it was worth the four hour wait for this to fully render.
Next time, I need to re-render an older image of Yuiko with her new hair and earsβ¦

I saved the new one under a modified name "_2_" - it's just that it gets confusing sometimes as to whether it's an update of an old file or a misnamed new one.

Doesn't your dA watchlist folder give you a warning when a deviation is updated?
If I remember right, it shows up an UPDATE tag in parenthesis.

Yeah, but I'm about 4k dev's behind, so I pick an artist and go through all their current updates in one run. THAT doesn't tell me if it's a new dev or a revised one. I look at the actual dev instead of the thumb, go "gee, that's cool" then download it for my screensaver gallery and delete and it takes me to that artists next dev.

I made the mistake of joining the Realm of Fantasy club - I got like 2k devs from them the first week. I had to stop the bleeding by not accepting any new devs from any of the groups I belong to and only accept ones from individual artists. The problem is, that every time I go back to the RoF list and try to knock out some more of their devs (and there were too many really good ones to just delete the whole thing) I keep finding another really cool artist whose gallery I have to peruse and then put on watch. Can you say "I'm digging the hole deeper, faster than I can possibly fill it in?"
