The Aztecs called the jaguar, "The one who kills in just one leap." Considering the Aztecs' fierce reputation, that must have been quite a compliment ...I love how meaty and muscular jaguars look. And they are America's "big cat" - some have been spotted (no pun intended) as far north as Arizona!
This is part of my animal challenge. Woodenfang: woodenfang.deviantart.com/ suggested I draw either a leopard, a cheetah or a jaguar, so I went with the one I've never attempted before. Enjoy!

Yep, that pretty much sums up a cat, whether he or she be a house cat or a big guy.
