For the lining: Years of practice. Lining is probably my favourite thing to do when it comes to art so I focus on making them perfect a lot ;_;
For colouring: Goodness I'm really self-conscious about my colouring so THANK YOU.. I often do flat colouring/shading and then muck with hue+saturation sliders until it looks right... and then I put overlay filters onto it! Without overlays it would look really washed out and drab.

And for the textures: I have a stockpile of em' that I love a lot, which I use in Manga Studio and tweak/rotate/flip until they look good/right to me.

These are all for Clip Studio Paint/Manga Studio 5! I'm not sure if they're backwards compatable with Paint Tool Sai.

I often use the Painty Sai Pen, Pentel Brush, and Micron Multiliner from this pack! The other brushes I use are actually in a pack I purchased a while back ;_;
