when do i know that a picture is finished? pretty easy.i work for one hour, two hours, look at the previous
saved image, revert back, start again, and after a while
i realise that there is nothing to improve. then, and
only then its done.
this might look like a rather stupid method, but other-
wise there would always be the feeling that i could have
done better.
anyway, metamorphosis is a rather decent compositing,
consisting of a picture i did with a photosession with
the lovely sarah. some might have already seen the source
images, i posted it on the forum and on deviantart.
the tombstone, the skull and the wings are from a cemetary
in salzburg and all the chrome stuff is extracted from a
motor bike i photographed in vienna. the metal stuff is
from a turbine in a museum in munich.
i really tried a while to improve the image even more,
since i dig the overall look so much that i wanted it to
get even better, but like i mentioned before, this is the
best i can do at the moment.

The thumbnail doesn't do it justice at all, I was shocked when I went to full view. This has to be my favourite image that you've ever done. I can't complain at all, from the perfect blending of the woman, the tombstone, everything.

THis is a very nice idea. THe Tomb looks very good, the skull gives it a "quakeish" touch
The screws&skull = mechanisch aber dennoch vergΓ€nglich.
