Description the assignment was very open ended, 5 elements must be present: figure, plant, animal, object, gesture
here's my crappy rushed final project for my illustration class. I need a looooot more practice with watercolors before attempting to to bring something like this to a finished level. my teacher said it looked like "a good color study" hahaha. I'll probably go back to this in the future and do a finished piece in acrylic or something

oh I like this very much. almost better than your DD (which is good as well). the colours of course are stunning, but so is the amount o details. It doesn't look unfinished at all.

I like those powerful colours. Although the guy there is dead the whole picture looks alive. Cool!

Awesome use of colors in your painting here. Really love the detail you put into the Knight, The tree and the flowers growing around the corpse. Very powerful piece of a Knight giving his final rest.
