Technology & Combat Characteristics
Mark V was already an excellent mobile suit when "The Butcher" commissioned an upgrade. The Mark V's impressive speed was improved further by large thrusters on its back. The mobile suit also has upgraded offensive capabilities in the form of four Incoms and also two subarms that can wield beam sabers in addition to normal beam sabers that the mobile suit can wield in its manipulators.

Armaments

Beam Rifle
The standard ranged armament of many mobile drones, the beam rifle fires a particle beam that can penetrate almost any armor that has not been treated with specific counter-measures.

Beam Saber/Beam Cannon
E-Cap charged Beam Sabers are the standard close-range melee combat weapons employed by the majority of MD. They emit high-energy Falade particles to form a blade-shaped I-field (via manipulation of electromagnetic fields), and then fills this shell with superheated Falade particle plasma to produce an effective cutting blade. The Gundam Mk-V carries two beam sabers stored on the backpack.

INCOM
. These disc-shaped devices are armed with internal beam guns and controlled via wire cables. Every time an INCOM changes its flight direction, it deploys a tiny relay INCOM to hold the wire in place and maintain its connection to its parent mobile suit. When the pilot recalls the INCOM, it retraces its course as the wire is retracted. The Mark V Kai carry four of these.

Beam Gun
Each INCOM remote weapon mounts a beam gun. Because of limitations, the wires cannot supply enough power to allow the beam gun to be continually used. After a set number of shots, the INCOM must be recalled so that the beam gun can be recharged.

3-tube Missile Pod
The Gundam Mk-V Kai can equip two missile pods on each shoulder. Useful for mid-range combat, these missiles can destroy a MS or damage bigger targets.

Shield Booster
Much like its predecessor, the Mark V Kai can mount its shield on its back to use for a booster to increase the mobile drones already impressive speed which was far superior to the original gundam Mark V.

Special Equipment & Features
HYDE system

Short for High Yield Dispersion Extreme system which temporarily increases the wireless connection of the Drone and the pilot greatly enhancing the performance of the drone. However this system can be used for only 10 seconds before risk of complete shut down or overload of the controls are a possibility.

Sub arms

The Mark V Kai has two sub arms near the thrusters that unfold for either a surprise defense or offense often utilizing the Mark V Kai's large beam sabers. These arms are also capable of carrying other weapons as well and have anti beam coating capable of reflecting beams.
