Description Xiao Chen just looking surprised. I tried to do something real pretty with her outfit but I failed miserably. It's supposed to be real nice material, shiny and sparkly. But neh. Anyhoot. Liz made me post this. She poked at me and made puppy eyes. So yeah, I like how her anatomy came out, and my brain isn't fully functional right now.

the material does look shiney.
If i could draw a character like that i could draw every day in tons of outfits.
look in fashion magazines would be my advice. and u can use some fashions in there or maybe when u do see something that might spark some ideas for an outfit to draw.

Interesting dagger... I wonder where she was hiding *that*... wait, I mean, uh... is that your own design or did something give you the idea for it? I'm rather fond of drawing weapons.

Oh, and if her outfit looks this good to begin with, I think it's just as well it didn't go totally as planned. We'd probably be bowing down to her in worship XD

A little chunky maybe, but servicable. It's one I'd consider putting in my collection here, if you're thinking of being any more modest, because it's something that you don't see too often. ^^

Don't get down on your creativity, besides I'm praising it, okay? I love the whole piece, and it's just nice to see that you're including something so very suited to your willing-to-overlook-rights-of-ownership mouse.

I know you discourage crits but I got special priveleges.

If you wanna make it sparkly, try to do more "star" reflections to really give off the shine. The highlights you currently have are really intense and make it look more like a kind of rubbery latex sort of thing.

You're getting better with the weapons.

i think the "star" effect would make it too shiny, besides, i thinki that effect would go better on a more formal outfit, like a dress or something.

I think you succeeded in making the outfit look as though it were made out
of silky, pretty material. I think the shines you have are just fine for portraying that. : D
And normally I don't think I would like hot purple/pink hair on anyone, but she's totally
pulling it off.
