I can do ANYTHING to save a picture I like, anything not to throw it away, even when it looks terrible... this was the case here. There was a lot of work to make the picture watchable. But I never have the patience to complete the job properly. I already spent about 1O hours on it, and it's far from perfect. It would have needed the double of time! But I didn't have the patience.
ABout the fakeness of the colors and all, this is part of the vibe, part of dead violet's universe. Exagerate grins, body expression, colors and lights. It's very harsh, I admit.

Perfect picture composition, expecially the "dead things" as you call them, they're perfectly set up around you, it shows that every detail has been worked on before the picture was taken.

I would have liked to have seen what this shot would like without the boot in it. The contrast of the pink couch and the girl wearing black blend so beautifully, the heavy boot with jeans kind of kills it for me.
