Description When? February 2004
Where? Paris
What? A big fashion photoshoot for a german brand ready-to-wear catalogue.

Who? Tonioo, fashion photographer from Marseille. He laughed a lot. Tereza, hungarian ELITE model. She cried.

I met !Tonioo here on DA. He took me as his supernova assistant!--> [link]

We also did some less professional overtime-->

He’s banned from DA now. I know you were many to watch him, I know you are many to watch me after seeing me on tonioo’s page, but he had it coming.
His site--> Fresh Widows Take a look! He may be a complete ass, but he’s a good photographer.

I love this on so many levels. At first glance it appears that it's a protrait of the model, since she's the one in focus. The longer I look though, the more it appears to be a photo of the guy on the right who is photographing her. Great shot.

no, i think the subject is the model. She's the heroine of the story, crying tereza.

she feels lonely.

DeadThings In reply to Betmig [2005-05-31 08:54:21 +0000 UTC]

She feels frustrated because she can't make !Tonioo see her. She's hurt because he deosn't find her beautiful. She tries to seduce him and he cares not. She may think about her dad, how he wouldn't tell her that she's pretty... she may think "daddy love me, daddy hold me", she feels insecure, and, eventually, ugly.
Where does real beauty lies, she may ask to herself? And I'm standing behind the german client in awe and giving her the silent answer:
"Not in models, darling."

when playing paintball i learned that somehow the shape of the head poking out of the shoulders is the biggest giveway that there is a person somewhere (even just the sillhouette) The missing head makes it seem so off, And then the real question comes to my mind, This guy seems restrainted and somehow apart from the beautiful girl there... yet, i wonder, if he cannot touch her, but just sense her, can he become attracted to her still, i mean... sometimes just a smell will make me fall for someone...

I don't understand, what's the thing with paintball and heads? I didn't get you.

To your question the answer is NO. The photogrpaher is not attracted to the model. he doesn't see her. She deosn't see him.

This is plainly beautiful. It's, in my opinion, with "Hundred years old kiss", your most beautiful deviation.Of course, this is a :fav:, if I could suggest it as a daily deviation, I would, it's really a wonderful picture.
