Made in my stitching class
Fait dans le cadre de mes cours de couture!
It took me 3 moths to complete this project as I have been working on it one evening per week in that period of time.
C'est un projet de couture qui m'a pris 3 mois à compléter, à raison d'y avoir travaillé un soir par semaine !

umm.... lets see if i can word it better.
is the skirt made up of one big peice of checkard fabrice with the solid colored ones (purple, red, black (as in they have no pattern so they are solids)) sewn onto it, OR where they just randomly sew together and then formed into the skirt shape?
(i hope that made better sense)

Yup, your question makes better sense to me now
In fact, my skirt is made from randomly sewn pieces(red, black,checkered,purple) which formed my ''patchwork skirt''.
But it wasn't completely a random process because I had to be sure that the pattern was interesting with all these colours

C'était des morceaux qui avaient déjà cette forme ou cela faisait-il parti du patron? J'ai énormément de restes de tissu et ce projet me semble une bonne idée pour les passer.

En fait, j'ai utilisé trois sortes de tissus achetés dans le but de faire la jupe. L'idée de cette jupe m'est venue d'une fille qui en faisait une mais avec des "restants" de tissus, donc je crois que tu vas être capable de t'en faire une également!
