I've only seen bits of the anime, I'm more of a book person myself. Her clothes in this picture are more based on her wardrobe in the books. Curly hair is the funnest to draw! ^^

well i not sure but from time to time when i buy manga, i find these light novel that are in the manga section and is about the anime or manga, but it all words maybe a few pics only.

I use GIMP, I've tried SAI, but I didn't really like it.

I'll have to try it, I use a program that came with my Bamboo Tablet, Auto sketch book.
Is Gimp free? And if it is, Is it good, or do I have to pay to unlock the good tools?

GIMP is free, safe to download, and there's lots of tutorials and tools for it. You can even design your own brushes for it (I don't know how, but people do), which you can download here on DA too! ^^
