This is me on my first Christmas... 1953.. 11 months & 2 weeks old. If you look close on the left hand side of the photo you can just see the foot of my teddy that I have used in some of my photos.The Christmas tree at the time of this photo was at least 50 years old. My dad had bought it off a man that had it on a barrow that played music as the tree turned round. So my dad told us... I even had this tree when I first got married for our 1st Christmas. We bought a new one the year after though and this got passed to my brother.
This is how I remember my Christmases as a little girl. The old tree in the bay window with tinsel and cotton wool for snow.... ahh those were the days. One for you Nigel!

Aw, you have such beautiful blue eyes! I came across yoru page through a photo of your husbands. It's a picture called "I Spy", that he credited you for the title in.
You two look so happy, and like a fun couple of people.

Aww bless. Yes we are happy and still very much in love after being together 8 yrs and married for 2. I don't know if we would call ourselves a fun couple as we don't really go out but we do have the same stupid sense of humour so understand each other very well. I think we would be classed more along the lines of two old farts

Hahah, my fiance' and I have been together for 2.5 years, and have been engaged for 6 months. We knew we would be married one day through the whole relationship, though.
I'm expecting, right now...So we're pretty excited about that.
We used to go to the bars and such all of the time, but I"m ready to settle down. I know 23 is still a young age to settle down, but he'll be 26 in May, so we're both ready for a little family.

Paul and I had already known each other through a mutual friend for 3yrs before we got together. I just knew then right from the start that we would spend the rest of our lives together as we were soul mates. Good luck with the baby. 23 is a good age. I had my first when I was 30 and although he was 20 when my 1st grandson was born I sometimes feel an 'old' grandmother and I'm missing out as I don't have the energy to look after my grand kids. You're still young to enjoy a good life with your children
