I took 100 shots yesterday of everything I could in the garden yesterday with this new magnigying filter someone gave me and they looked great on the back screen but when I put them on the comp they were all bleached as I hadn't thought to check the ISO or whatever I should have checked. I managed to salvage 12!! If they had turned out trust me Andrew you would be seeing some stunning images but I don't think it's meant to be.... not yet anyway

i knew what these were... only because i just finished trying to photograph some lilies that we have. careful of the little buggers because i hear that the stamen can stain clothes if you're not careful.
i think it's a great shot because you give the viewer just enough... the viewer has to judge for themselves what it is... it's not the "typical" view of a flower. wonderful job debbie

Thanks Clive. Yes lots. We went and ordered our wedding rings yesterday and managed to get some photos as well before the really heavy rain set in last night. Another busy day ahead of us that's why I'm up early on Sunday. Think I'm going back to bed for a bit now with a cup of tea. Enjoy your day Luv. We get flood warnings via telephone, mobile and e-mail - this a extract from an e-mail that came through last night ..........

The previously issued Flood Warning for the River Llynfi at Maesteg area is no longer in force.
A Flood Watch remains in force for the wider area. Remain alert!
The heaviest rainfall has now cleared the area but continued vigilance is necessary until river levels drop further
............. All is OK this morning our little river is speedy along quite inoffensive glad to say
