“Deborah was the smartest kid in her class. Along her cousin, Nicolás, she was quite popular amongst her classmates. Intelligent, hard-working, witty but also well-manered. Despite getting along with the rest of the class, she had few friends. But she lived a fruitful life with her parents, who loved her very much, and she was said to travel a lot.

However, Deborah was bored. She felt like her life lacked excitement, like she was missing out. Being a good girl and an outstanding student helped make her parents and teachers happy, but she needed something else to be happy.

So, when she met them, her life would change forever. A misshapen magician and a heartless little demon, two powerful figthers who can barely stand each other, but equally loved by this little girl. What will be of them?”

A not-so-old doodle I did to try a different style, this time a more cartoon-ish one! I rely too much on stylized features and pretty face shapes and whatnot, so I usually have a hard time drawing cartoon style. I couldn't say I succeeded since this still looks quite detailed in my opinion, but I'm still kinda proud of how it came out nonetheless!
So... Yeah, this picture pretty much sums up the introduction of my story, which consists of eleven chapters. On these eleven chapters, I introduce you to the five main characters of the first book, and you find out how they meet each other as well as the misfortunes they have to go through to become who they are when the main plot begins! So, here you have Deborah with Dämon in her arms (her obsession with him is one of the main points in the introduction), while İkaro gets frustrated at her stubbornness and her lack of survival instinct.

Then, what do you think of this style? Or do you prefer the style from my previous drawings? It'd be great to know your opinion!

P.S.- Oh, if you're upset at how long Dämon's fingers look in those gloves despite how tiny he is, it's because he has long claw-like nails!
