Description
The Pale King and his Queen sleeping peacefully during the night in their bedroom.
I like to think that when the Root became too big to sleep like a normal bug, they created a special bed for her and her spouse, with soft padding all around to let her sleep comfortably when sitting - and she has no problem sleeping sit, since she is a sort of plant. The Pale King usually sleeps next to her, but some nights, when the two feel especially cuddly, he sleeps in her arms.
Did you notice the "extra" crown on the left? Well, I am actually thinking about a possible headcanon I can adopt, especially for my AUs: the Pale King has actually his horns, but since the crown is way too big compared to his head... the truth is that he wears a "second crown" or sort of to extend his horns. Yeah, horn extensions!

I already said it on twitter, I say it again, I love this so much ^^ In my headcanon PK always sleeps next to his Root when he is upset (I go with the classical king and queen have seperate chambers) and cuddles up against her, so cute ^^
Also, horn extensions xD At least this PK didn't had balance problems then!

I was a reader before a writer first and so reading stories is still a big thing for me.
And if you don't read the story, it isn't a loss. It is there and you can read it whenever you want or don't read it, I just put it out there, I don't force anyone to read them ^^
