Wow. Apart from the difference in style, I'd never have guessed two people worked on this. The transition's flawless.
I'd say the whole thing's flawless, actually. A really spectacular piece of work - although I got rather desensitised to amazingness going through your gallery. *grin*
I think an amusement park in two dimensions describes it perfectly, although it's quite an amusing comparison! There really is loads going on, and I won't pretend to understand any of it. Looks a bit like a mad scientist's lab coupled with an alien zoo. In an entirely good way.
Anyhow, in conclusion to that ramble... it rocks. And if I haven't watched you till now, apologies, I have no idea why. Or rather, why not.

Your styles blend wonderfully well....I love the eyes,there seems to be a blood/water theme going on...an allegory for the human body,and it's mysterious liquid processes....most wonderfully cool!
