So I thought I would give the Disney Princess style a serious try.First I started off drawing Ariel[the face], but then I decided to go a different approach.
I decided to draw Sally in the Disney Princess style. I kept the Ariel face and gave her hair similar to Mulan's, and then made her dress a bit more Princess-y, but still wanted the approach as her original dress, so I just made it longer and more flowy so she could lift it to show off the Disney Princess signature petticoat.
I am really satisfied how she came out. I hand drew it, colored it with copic markers, then went in digitally to color the skin and tweaked it up a bit.
I tried to keep as close to the Disney Princess style as I could with the coloring and such. I would like to go and vector it later to give it that official look, but maybe later.
