"Funk and Soul, my very own Han Solo DL-44 blaster pistol...pistols. I usually charge in guns blazing with these bad boys but back when I bought them, the dude peddling the arms recommended I use the guns as backup weapons only: he literally told me "You shouldn't rely on these things"- clearly he didn't know just what he was really selling me cause he didn't mention anything about how these babies can cycle through three different types of ammo- Solar heat blasts, Arc electricity bolts, and my personal favourite- Void implosion particles. They say these kinda blasts create tiny explosions of dark matter or black holes or...okay honestly I don't really remember what exactly they said these things were, but you know? Whatever, man, the point is these guns do really cool shit in really cool ways, and not many people can say they've got weapons like 'em. Certainly surprise the pants off'a most outlaws I come toe to toe with, can even blaze through fully shielded Eclipse Corps armour with enough direct hits, and when I put 'em into Command Rifle mode? Oh-ho-ho, man, I become the undisputed jharkin' master of the battlefield. I can even take control of other people's guns! This kinda stuff gives me such an ego boost I feel like Lyndon Sharmacki at the end of Starknights season 3, only problem is I think Zorrjha overheard me in the shower yesterday saying "Fear the Almighty Solar-Saint" whilst pointing it at my reflection in the glass. I really hope she didn't, cause I have a feeling she's the type who only dates those mature, really organised stern look-giving types of people and I'm trying to be a little more like that in front of her so she gets interested. (Just a little post this time. I said I'd probably post Solar-Saint with his guns "Funk and Soul" configured in all three elements (From right to left: Solar, Void Implosion, and Arc) all together purely to show them off. Nothing much but I figured it'd potentially be cool to see. I have plans for a bunch of other stuff soon, and to do some backtracking, Sol ‘Voltam who I posted yesterday was a rare instance of me getting a character out on the same day that I started putting his bio together at all. With him and Cyvk 'Turom in mind, I want to go back to being able to make posts without spending several weeks on backstories I'm not really sure alot of people are reading, so I'm gonna try and do more bite-sized posts, which should be the majority of things I have planned for the rest of the Summer. There are two posts I have been preparing that are not bite-sized however, and that's a new, long overdue revisioned biography of the Trident of Revelation- the main faction of my Haloverse here, and The Articles of Undoing Part 2. Not sure when I'll get them done, but I'm hoping to get the Trident of Revelation one out before I (finally after 4 friggin years) go to America again on holiday. Anyway, that's all for now folks!)
