The Hook scenes were wonderful. And especially this quote, where it showed how Killian is realizing he's got nothing. The episode's podcast was released, and Eddy Kitsis confirms that when Hook sees Gold through the window, he sees a man who's found love, and thinks, 'what do I have ? Nothing'. That's when he understands that maybe it's not worth it, and that he needs to move on. And in my opinion, it's been made quite clear that Emma's the one he'll turn to.

She's the one who cares for him - as much as she wishes she didn't - contrary to what he thinks. They have this connection and this understanding. Hook doesn't know this yet, but she did leave to New York with Rumple to protect him. She looked after him when he was in the hospital. There are many little details such as this that show their bond.

So I'm happy, and excited
