He will battle the world,

He will battle beasts,
he will fight them all,
only for you.
He will kiss you
and carry you off
to the land far away
and you will live
happily ever
after
We live with this.
Old stories from
olden days.
Hopes and dreams
from long ago
Today
the front of magazines

how to change,
how to look,
how to become
someone else,
to look like
a factory pressed mold.
To fit,
to be someone.
No flaws.
Be someone else
be perfect
Be special
But
not...you...
We tell ourselves white lies
every day
all the time
we bind ourselves
what we are
to fit in
to be someone
special

ourselves
Where is he?
What did I do wrong?
Why arent I like her?
Or her?

Is it my clothes?

or the way that I talk?
That I blush or
that I studder
when I try to speak up
