Merry Christmas - the pirate way - Part 3!

(yup, it's a set! They are all coming your way).

This card is called: Bedtime!

If you ask me... Christmas is a day like any other and any other day could be Christmas.

We have been brainwashed for ages to go buy presents and have fancy meals... even though the brainwashing goes as far as: it's a season of joy, a season for giving, it's a season for sharing, it's a season where miracles happen.

They are still selling an idea so that you go buy stuff.

For me Christmas is any day, during the year, where you have peace of mind and your heart is calm. Does not necessarily means you have to be with the loved ones - it's Christmas when I draw - but each and every one of us has different happy islands that makes life better and for some a lover or family just make the deal.

I don't have a song in mind for this scene... it's just Kane's dream come true, in a way. What he never had and always wanted. So helping his kids getting ready for bed is what makes his regular days turn into Christmas, instantly.

Every night is Christmas for the Balthasars!

Wilson Kane wins a fortune and his future bride at a game of dice from the former pirate Balthasar. When he decides to go and get the girl, the pirate way, by kidnapping her, not only he finds out that she is more than a pirate could ever want from a wife... but that she has 4 identical sisters as well. This discovery hits him when his men, who were supposed to help him out, each kidnaps a different girl... and none of them gets the right one! But Wilson Kane wants the girl he had met and no one else! Luckily for him it will be the girl herself to solve his problem and put an end to his dilemma... a solution that will eventually fling her into a world of adventures on the Mediterranean sea.
