For someone who is not a fan of the festive season, I seem to have completed a festive picture with alarming willingness. Halp!ANYWAY, here's my Christmas 2009 picture featuring Hugh, Melody and The Spawn. Before any of you have jump to the conclusion that the Spawn are Hugh and Mel's children and have multiple heart attacks, let me explain that the Spawn are in Fact Melody's much younger siblings. There was a scene in Hugh's Diary which some of you may remember where Hugh and Mel helped the Spawn build a snowman and I was inspired by that.
If anyone wondered, the Spawn's actual names are Ian, Taylor, Chloe and Brooklyn. Spawn is just Hugh's collective nickname for them.
Hope you like this - it took me a while! And now I'm going to go and hide in a whole until it's January and sanity returns to the world.

AWWWWW its adorable!!! I like the festive season but it can be frustrating, especially the last two years for me. This is really great tho, i love the happiness, and i love the outdoorsyness too!! I personally love snow, while everyone else around me seems to hate it for some reason. Great stuff as always darlin!

Hugh knows the kids names, he just things Spawn is an easy catch all name for them. Don't ask me why.

I'd like it to snow, too, but I doubt that will happen! In England the snow usually comes in Jan and Feb.

It's often the same here, too... it will only snow a few times before christmas but not enough to prevent it melting away and then it January it will snow like hell

I didn't draw cards this year - I don't really have access to a printer so I figured it was probably not a good idea.
I only realised right at the end that the spawn would look like Mel and Hugh's kids! I suppose that's what I get for drawing cutesy pics like this!

Aww thanks! I just like dashing tailcoats and old fashioned men's clothing, so I tend to give Hugh rather a lot of it to wear^^
