Description
His name is Tex, an acronym from Texas Miles Rhodes, an awesome character created byTex is not just an ordinary western gunfighter because he’s actually invisible, and his actual form was smoke. So basically I just draw his costume, not his physique, and what you see evaporating from his coat and shirt was his true form.
But the hardest part to draw was his hands holding dual guns. Mechanical drawing wasn’t my expertise, and drawing revolver instead of my usual pistols was a challenge. Beside, a unique character as Tex also needs the best weapons available. So I opened my Gunslinger comic collection and used this exceptional Colt as reference for his guns. It’s fun though, and I was satisfied with the outcome.

Hahaha, I draw him from whiteknight reference, so I guess he knew better. But since you mention it, my Dad is more familiar with Texas people because he live there for 2 years

I like very much the movement of the character, as well as the shade, even if to stress this shade would maybe have looked some more of depth.

Great. But the revolvers are not Colts I guess. They seem to be the Remington Outlaw revolvers. Frank James used those also.

Hmm, I don't know for sure, coz I saw the model in Dark Tower comics and they call them Colt. I'll check again later, thanks for the info

yes I did, great movie. If you want something oddly different(well maybe you'll consider it heresy rofl), give it a shot at Sukiyaki Western Django, made by Quentin Tarantino. Mixing the Eastern with the Western, hilarious movie, and for me it was worth it. Taking the Spaghetti Western back to the road lol.

Nicely constructed picture. Great use of contrast and I like the composition - with the character positioned 1/3 way into the frame and a strong horizontal line.
If you do another piece using this character - maybe you could include a 'wild west' environment in the background to give him some context?
