He's quite cute in that style
I know it's part of the style, but the only thing I don't like about this is that he doesn't have ears :/

Yeah the Mario bros don't quite look right without ears but other characters I've drawn
in it look pretty good to me. Β I just try to stay true to it while making the Mario look as good as possible.

It would be like not giving them a nose. Since their noses and ears are so big they're a distinct feature. Characters like Peach can get away with it better
