Another thing for art jam. Azula was such a great villain. ;_;My cintiq crapped out halfway through lineart, so I had to mouse the rest. I added many extra flameys over her hand because lol, it's not really there.

This is a REALLY fun and refreshing take on Azula. You really got her rough, ruthless, and nasty feeling here with the colors and style. LOVE IT. Fave. =]

Oh my gosh, I am such a huge Azula fan ;u; Idk, I just love her so much. So unbelievably messed up and ambitious and deadly, and yet there's something there that let's you pity her and wonder if things could have been different.

And I love Azula! Idk, I really liked how her character arc progressed (into madness). I mean, I do wish that it had been spread out over a longer time rather than a couple eps, but hey. Still a great ending for her by the end of the series. ♥

you know what? some of the animations and art directions are really really good @________@ like that windmill skill, the breakdance move @ 3@ but some scenes i don't agree with, like the ending of that clip where that girl's face is weirdly cut in the scene =_= i might give the series a try but i feel that i've grown too much to deal with shonen stuffs these days *sigh*

The awkward framing I think is from the uploader for the specific vid, because I noticed that parts are cut off/poorly staged like that and they weren't when I watched the episode.
Also, nooo it's not just plain shonen (kind of is I guess, but stillll) It's so good, give it a chance! 8D
And LOL you'll have to wait for season 2 before Zuko gets hot, hahaha. His hair is... way different in season 1. But he's always been a good character.
