Iceland

Sorry for the prolonged absence from dA. Life has been incredible busy of late with weddings, home renovations, work publications, and of course, Charlotte taking up most of my time. I've recently acquired a 5dmk3 and hope to revisit Iceland in winter to take high iso images of aurora in particular. This one was taken during our 2010 trip which is filled with fond memories.

Marianne and I will be heading off to New Zealand for 3 weeks at the end of April and we can't wait to test out the new camera's abilities! Happy Easter everyone

oh wow totally stunning.....its like it is floating on air its that clear....
I have been eyeing this camera up, I have found it takes some wonderful shots...

umm yes, generally a lens is used lol - 10-20mm sigma goes well for landscapes

shots like these bring me to another world..made of dreams. I hope to visit Iceland at least once in my life, or even more as you did. I think this continuously changing rough land will never end to amaze the human sight.

To say this shot is incredible is an understatement.

I'm heading to Iceland in August for a hiking/photo trip. Got any suggestions? I'm definitely stopping by Kirkjufell after seeing this masterpiece.
