History
Pisces was one of the twelve Zodiac Spirits created by Natalie Charte; The Goddess Of The Zodiac, who coloured her purple/blue as it symbolised her spiritual nature (and her ice powers in anniversary edition). When The Planetary Guardians were born, Natalie Charte linked Pisces with Neptune, Ruler of the planet with the same name. When Natalie Charte wished to change the world from a barren wasteland, Pisces, along with the other Zodiac Spirits, got to work and turned the world into a beautiful blue and green marble. Years later, when the new “humans” were created, Natalie Charte and The Zodiac Spirits feared that the humans were getting too comfortable with their lavish lifestyle. When they started acting out and being hostile and disrespectful towards the Zodiac Spirits, Natalie Charte gifted The Zodiac Spirits weapons to keep themselves safe in case any of the humans tried to hurt them. Eventually, after Natalie Charte punished the humans for their behaviour, she told The Zodiac Spirits that she didn’t want to live on this planet anymore and took off with her shrine to outer space, thus making Pisces and the others the rulers of the newly-named Horoscopia with Pisces ruling from mid-February to mid-March.

In Mario And The Zodiac Spirits, Pisces was the ninth Zodiac Spirit to be saved by Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, and Toad. In Chapter 1, she is waiting at the airport along with the others for the four to arrive. Later on, when the thirteenth Zodiac Spirit, Ophiuchus, appears and crashes The 1000th Year Of Peace Festival, he possesses the whole Koopa Family. Piccolo imprisons Pisces in a purple/blue Star Crystal and takes her Star Crystal to Rainbow Heavens. She doesn’t appear again until Chapter 9, when she is saved by Toad, she thanks him and takes the other three heroes and Piccolo back to The Castle Of The Zodiac Spirits. Later on, she shows the other Zodiac Spirits one of her premonitions, which scares Cancer and leads Taurus to call her a “estúpido pez morado” (azul in revision). When Horoscopia falls apart due to the depletion of Wish Energy, Pisces and ten of the Zodiac Spirits, and most of The Koopa Family get transported to The Shrine Of Natalie Charte. After fighting with Ophiuchus, mourning the loss of Cosmo, their sarcastic cat advisor, and having Natalie Charte re-awakened, Pisces along with the Zodiac Spirits and Natalie Charte destroy Ophiuchus and heal the world (especially Horoscopia) and decide to celebrate the 1000th Year Of Peace Festival once more.
