All the way back in April, I was entertaining new ideas for my next Wattpad story, which I decided was going to be a Mario fanfiction with an astrological motif. Of course, with it being a fanfiction centred around the Zodiac signs, I had to create characters that represent each sign. From May to June, I made the illustrations for the new story, which I called Mario and The Zodiac Spirits. Also in June, I created the aforementioned Zodiac Spirits, who ruled the beautiful, enchanting kingdom of Horoscopia. For these guys, I had two specific themes in mind, a fairytale theme with the outfits and a rainbow motif for their colour schemes. When they were done, I felt proud of the end result (except Aquarius made me want to hole-punch my face, it was so difficult to give her a fairytale outfit that matches her sign). And soon, I started writing Mario and The Zodiac Spirits, writing the twelve chapters from June 5th to July 22nd. MATZS became my favourite work on Wattpad, and received some healthy popularity. So much so, I tried to make three more sequels the following August, which all got scrapped right after writing the first chapter of the immediate sequel. But in September, I didn’t like how the rainbow motif was kinda subdued with the Zodiac Spirits and I recoloured four of them (Gemini, Virgo, Libra, and Pisces respectively), and I was impressed with how better they looked. In October I branded Mario and The Zodiac Spirits, along with two other Wattpad stories, with the 1 Year Anniversary deal, which will start tomorrow and will expire on January 1st, 2023.

I’m releasing a poll later on concerning this story, so keep an eye out for it!

With that little history lesson out of the way, I present to you, the new and improved Zodiac Spirits. And for those that don’t know them (although the symbols might give them away), I’ll share their names from left to right.

Red: Aries - (March 21st to April 19th)
Orange: Sagittarius - (November 22nd to December 21st)
Yellow: Scorpio - (October 23rd to November 21st)
Green: Taurus - (April 20th to May 20th)
Teal: Capricorn - (December 22nd to January 19th)
Cyan: Aquarius - (January 20th to February 18th)
Blue: Pisces - (February 19th to March 20th)
Indigo: Libra - (September 23rd to October 22nd)
Violet: Virgo - (August 23rd to September 22nd)
Magenta: Gemini - (May 21st to June 20th)
Pink: Cancer - (June 21st to July 22nd)
