Well past time, I think, to post a few single images from Sleeper Squad #38 for the benefit of those who can't or won't read PDFs. Alas, while there are some fun scenes, there are not a lot of single panels that stand well by themselves. So we'll have to do the best we can with what we've got.

I posted elsewhere (not DA) about my tribulations with this particular image. It had lighting problems galore and eventually had to be completely relit a different way. This is becoming a recurring theme with me; I'm finding that more and more I can't depend on photometric lights (pointlights and spotlights) to get what I want, and I swear to you I have one scene in the current project where the spotlights just stopped working. I have no idea why. Anyway, this is the revised version, and it's much better, as long as you ignore the faint haircap spot on her forehead and the mystery spot (never did figure out what was doing that) on the right shoulder of her dress.

I did not choose her clothing, hair and makeup colors to match her little booth; other way 'round. I recolored the booth to match her.

Incidentally, you most definitely should not accept her ice cream, even if it's free. Those who have read the story know why.
