Description Second part of the teaching process.

When Numb "attached" himself to Dinah the first thing she had to teach him was how to walk downwards. As the whole concept of "walking down" is completely alien to the uphill trolls, the teaching was quite hard and HEAVY task for Dinah. But every little step (or fall) down was an advancement.

And Dinah exaggerates. Numb does not weight a ton. "Only" about 700 KG (1500 pounds).

The first part of the teaching:

That thought of a 1 TON weight just sells it all~ ! It`s like a Looney Tunes episode or something.

Hehe, DeepWood is ment to be pure sillyness so a reference to Looney Tunes is appropriate.

That TON weight was one of those "later adds" which sometimes just hit you when you have almost finished the drawing. It's good to know that it is a humorous one.

But like said, Dinah exaggerates; 700 kg is NOT a ton.

And thanks for the fave too.

I see. I wonder if any ACME product would then appear in any other installments of this silly series~

Gotta love brain-smacks like that, especially if being as humorous as this one :,D
No worries, I know, since it`s 300 kg short of a ton, but well, I bet 700 kg is as close to feeling like a bloody ton as any without any significant side-effects, like ... death?

No problem, I just love it.

Hmmm... various rockets, super speed vitamins, earthquake pills, disintegrating pistols, anvils of different sizes, and what-not. I think that most of the ACME products are a bit too modern for DeepWood.

Well, I bet that to the unhappy person (Dinah) who is left under, the 300 kg weight difference does not mean a rats ass.   I am sure it will feel like a bloody ton like you cleverly put it. I just wanted to be known that Numb is not THAT heavy. He is a "slim" troll after all.

Fortunately cartoon logic prevents any fatal injuries like we have seen with those ACME products. Wile E. Coyote is the ultimate proof of that.

I can believe you on that, especially if they would see what ACME offers in my country ... since really, we literally have a development company called "acme" that is specializing in computer equipment. You can imagine how long they work. !

Just like that, yes :,D~ LOL "slim" troll ... I`m getting images of him (Numb) being like an athletics expert or something, thanks.

Phew about that.

Looks like there should be more communication between these two

At least someone should had shouted "timber" so Dinah would have been able to step aside.  Then again when 700 kg suddenly falls down on you, it's not that easy to just slip away. And finally we know that Numb's vocabulary is not the largest on earth. At that time he propably had no words for anything related to going down, falling down or similar.

Down, down, all the way down.... And I'd say that 700 kg isn't exactly a feather either. But i'ts scary going against your instincts so who can blame the lovable oaf for having a bit of panic.

Not a feather, no. Numb is still a bit "lightweight" for a troll but for Dinah that is seemingly enough. Luckily cartoon logic prevents any serious injuries. And as we know, Numb did learn the skill eventually. Either Dinah was a good teacher or Numb is a bright troll. Or they just fell down so many times that Numb got used to it.

Falling down is always scary and when Numb falls down he falls from much higher heights than we do.

Uphill trolls? Do they really never go downhill?
She should be happy his buttocks aren't literally on her, otherwise she'd get a lot more weight on her body!

Nice to see the two again!

Yep, the simple fact is that uphill trolls never walk downwards. Their parents "place" their offspring to low-lying lands and after that the trolls wander their entire lives only upwards toward higher lands and mountains.

If you want to read more detailed description of this "placing", you can look my discussion with Loulin under the first training picture and especially the following comment of mine -> Nov 3, 2014

Are you hinting that Numb has a very large (and heavy) bum? He's just well endowed. But you are right. It wouldn't be very good to your health to end up under that.

Dinah and Numb are always happy to make an appearance.
