I was thinking about doing a big hooved animal thing for awhile, but then I decided on deer because I didn't want to get too ambitious. About 3 hours into it I realized ~zerotwospirited had drawn her namesake like yesterday. Stop influencing me subconciously danggit!Any way, from left to right:
Pudu, Sika Deer (top), Fallow Deer (bottom), Reindeer, Marsh Deer, Moose, Pere David's Deer (front), White Tail Deer (back). I was going to add a Chevrotain, but I might do one by itself some time (it's a ickle mouse-deer with the personality of a fox <3)

Aww, I love ungulates! Ungulates are aΒ diverse group of largeΒ mammals most of which use the tips of their toes, usually hoofed, to sustain their whole body weight while moving.

It's an interesting piece, and I like it, but I must comment that the moose is very very small. It should be considerably larger than it is here. We have a moose head hanging above the fire place and it's probably about the size of my father. They're big animals.
