Description I think this picture makes it really obvious that when I draw a big picture, I do it from a list of things I feel like drawing. This is a conglomeration of fake animals, herding guy, painted canyons and terraced water features. It was fun though, and it felt so good to use my tablet again after that month break! My teacher said he didn't like people using digital, but he actually had valid reasons for it so it was cool. Then I actually painted two things in the class that I really love, but my camera is broken and it's too big to scan. I might have taken a picture before it broke thoguh, so I may upload it anyway. YEAAAAAAHH

Welcome back homie. I hope you had a fun time at MICA. I like your new stuff. I suggest to give less saturation to the boy in the background because his colors are sharper than the animals in the foreground. I do love your background though. Great job!!!

Thanks, it was based on all the beautiful paintings of yellowstone and yosemite I saw at the national gallery.

What are your teachers reasons for not liking digital?

Thanks! It's not that he didn't like digital, he just though high school age artists like our class should first draw traditionally because it forces you to think critically about things like color and composition that on the computer would be really easy to fix but in real life are kind of a pain in the butt if you mess up the first time.
