Janus, two-faced Roman god of doors and new beginnings!Β The month, "January", is named after him, no?Β But, I really like it! Though, I do wonder why a statue is in the forest. . .

Coolio ^^ Yeah, I vaguely remember reading about Janus briefly in a book I read a while ago. And, random, but I like the little glowy effect around the cat.

Thanks! I actually found out about the whole cats-with-two-faces-are-called-Janus-cats before learning about Janus being a roman god. And also thanks! The glowy effect is my attempt at lighting, as there is/was a fire going on in these pages. (although the rain has pretty much put it out by this point)

Janus is usually represented with two faces because he is the roman god of time (and a lot of other things, such and beginnings, endings, doorways, and transitions), so he is said to looks into the past with one face and the future with the other.
Cats born with two faces (which actually happens, although most don't live very long) are often called "Janus cats" because of this.
