it's a filter on photoshop and I'm pretty sure you use sai, so

but a big part of it is that first I do the shading (or whatever else I want to have the effect), and then I duplicate the layer and use the gaussian blur filter and then mess with opacity until it looks okay. (it's useful if you wanna be lazy cause it can make even the laziest shading look tolerable) If that's the kind of effect you want you can probably do that but instead of the gaussian blur filter do whatever your program has for blurring

yeah i normally use sai but i have photoshop

i just really hate coloring on it so
