This very cute & adorable juvenile bunny is now for sale. It has a really soft fur and the colour is orange/beige/white.It is 24cm high.

Sooo pretty. May I ask how you prepared the skin before mounting? Chemicals, brain tan or just plain?

For traditional lifesize mounts I put the skin in ethanol to preserve them.

None of the animals I use for taxidermy are killed for that purpose. I would never kill or hurt an animals. I love animals. They're my life!

What do you mean fake? Those are real bunnies of course. But Iu buy them as frozen food for reptiles and don't kill them only for taxidermy.

Seriously considering it. I wonder though, if you have any more lop-eared bunny skins? I really love your rabbits and wanted a floppy eared one. I'd probably buy a set of two bunnies at once to save on shipping.

I think the one in the lower row with the orange longer fur could be a good lop (:

(The one on the left is the one I mounted just now, last deviation), the one in the middle will be mounted today. And the one on the right has really tiny ears, I don't know if I could make it look like a lop.
I tried making the one I mounted last also look like a lop but because it's a juvenile and the ears are so tiny it didn't work! (:

Doch ich mag sie ja! Sehr sogar! Nur ie kann man das erklären? Ich kanns mit mir selber nicht vereinbaren ein präpariertes Kaninchen im meinem Zimmer stehen zu haben und gleichzeitig ein lebendes hier laufen zu lassen XD Hätte ich kein lebendes würde ich mir auch ein präpariertes kaufen. Es geht also eigentlich nur um das Tier

Jaa ich weiß aber dennoch! Nee im gegenteil! Ich würde gerne ne Ausbildung dazu machen. Präparieren ist okay würde ich auch mit Tieren machen deren Arten ich selber habe nur in meinem Haus wo sich das lebende Tier befindet wäre mir das zu merkwürdig. Aber ansonsten würde ich dir den Hasen gleich abkaufen XD hab selber 2 soft Mount Füchse zu Hause und Schädel usw. Also gegen sowas hab ich nix find es sogar sehr faszinierend haha!
