Also, mad props to everyone that has tried this ahead of me, its not as easy as it may seem, this is one of about 200 different shots like this I tried with different lighting, angles, positions of the Bible and the ring, Different Apertures, ISO, and Shutter Speeds, everything, this was about a 2 hour photo shoot.Related content

this is not amazing. it's been done about 50billion times...and most of the time better. let's all stop saying things are amazing when they are simply not and unoriginal. the fact you put it in the bible and made a little statement means not a jot...ok so it adds some depth but it's still the same photo.
the shot itself is great of course but what'dyou expect when you've seen it done so many times before?

Oh~ song of Salomon~! I love it! It is a story of Christ and his church.
Oh~ I love the shadow on the bible and is right next to Chapter 5 verse 10!
Song of Salomon 5:10 (KJV) "My beloved is white and ruddy, the chiefest among ten thousand."
Sadly, most preachers today are saying like "My Car is shining and the cheifest among Lexu$", instead of "My Lord is bright and even shines in the light. He is the chiefest of all!"

I love this picture! I have done one with my True Love Waits ring on the Bible with the Song of Solomon too, so it's interesting to see someone else do it. I didn't submit it in my gallery on here because it's on a different computer now.

I have seen so many of these, but this is too good. The verse, the book, the ring... just everything is so gentle, loving and yet God-centered and focused.
And on a more personal note, there should be more men like you out there. It's very inspiring and hopeful to see that there are men waiting and not just chasing pretty girls in skirts.

Very, very nice job. I saw this and I was just blown away, bro, I don't think I could get a shot like this, lack of patience, not to mention I don't have this ring, although I really should get one considering I just redidicated my life to God a few days ago. Song of Songs is probably one of my favorite books of the Bible, next to Judges and 1 Corithians, props for putting up my favorite verse on here by the way. Once again good job, and the best part it's a print so I'm definitely going to try and get this.
